Hatchet by Gary Paulsen

 A crashes in the middle of Canada surrounded by the forest and lakes lost in the deep woods Brian has to learn to survive with only a hatchet he spends months alone isolated learning patients and control. In this book "Hatchet" by Gary Paulsen describes with great detail the wonders of the forest and its dangers. With the idea that starvation leads death and the only way to survive is by adapting to his environment Brian learns in this easy to read novel that catches the reader that patience is key and can be easily found when the moments are taken away and used properly to solve problems that can occur. Brain grows as a person and changes during the months away alone surviving by himself. I read this book for the first time 5 years ago and this was my second time reading it again and it still is one of the best books i have read that kept me reading and in the end motivated me too.
