Brain grows as a person and changes during the months away alone surviving by himself. I read this book for the first time 5 years ago and this was my second time reading it again and it still is one of the best books i have read that kept me reading and in the end motivated me too.

This book seems really interesting. I'm definitely gonna want to look into this book more. I do have some questions, What crashes? Was it a plane? Why was he in a plane? Did everyone else die on the plane or was he the pilot and the only one on it? What kind of dangers are in this forest? Does he ever get back home? Does he find a way out or does someone find him? Tell me more about whats going on! Can't wait to here more!
ReplyDeleteI also wonder why it gets you to turn the pages. is it just the situation that is compelling? What about Paulsen's writing? How does he build Brian's character? Remember that you want to be thinking like a writer -- the how of the craft.
